Hello,

First, I want to say I’ve really enjoyed reading I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire. The concept is great, and Liam is a very compelling character. But as a reader who’s followed his journey closely, I feel there’s a major gap in the story that could lead to serious criticism from the audience.

Liam was betrayed horribly by his wife in his past life. That betrayal was a key trigger for his mindset and motivations in the new world. But up to the current volumes, there has been no justice or closure shown regarding what happened to her. If this is never addressed, the story risks sending the wrong message—that betrayal goes unpunished, or worse, that such actions are being ignored or normalized.

Please understand, this isn't about revenge for the sake of violence. It's about emotional resolution. In a time when cheating and emotional manipulation are real social issues, especially for young male audiences (which make up a large part of the Isekai fanbase), not showing consequences for such betrayal might be seen as tone-deaf or even insulting.

Yes, it’s a fantasy manga. But even fantasy stories impact people deeply and personally. Look at the reaction to AOT’s ending—people felt betrayed because they were emotionally invested. Liam’s story carries that same potential. Ignoring the past life betrayal arc would mean wasting a huge opportunity to give the character and the audience catharsis and closure.

I hope this message is taken in a respectful way. We don’t want to criticize the art—we want it to shine even more by delivering justice where it’s due.

Thank you.
There will be, you just have to wait.
