Gotta be honest, her listening to his 'confession' finally felt like it got a bit too insensitive. The guy just shared his most vulnerable feelings and she's deceiving him by not telling who she really is while letting it happen.
Like of course, that's the premise, but before it was just light comments, however now it finally felt like she overheard something she wasn't supposed to overhear. When he started talking about feelings, I felt like she should have immediately exited the situation, just say 'sorry, I got to go' or something of the lines. Her staying and just listening to it all felt like a huge breech of privacy.
Of course it's such a silly premise that it should just seem adorable, but it really did give me a bad feeling in the stomach. Like she's inadvertently toying with him. I don't really find this premise comfortable anymore now that the author stretched it to this extreme.
It's like she's secretly reading the diary of her partner. It's not right.
