Seems kinda shitty to deliberately take advantage of someone's kindness and make them uncomfortable for a decade after they help you out with a bullying problem. Like I'm sure it will just end with them liking each other since it's manga, but the protagonist's only character traits so far are that he's timid and intentionally annoying.
