I do not believe it's out that ribbon hero is "dead" and evil org girl might be somewhat known but apparently not enough to be noticed in public, so actually having ribbon hero fight the monster would be the less suspicious option.

Seeing how he's been living he probably didn't get proper education so i can understand the naïvete and how he isn't too smart and tbh, they shouldn't help unless they make it quick if not, i only see future problems with heroes and society, but hey it would be boring if they just hide even though it's smart

This is a turning point. If they help, they out their existence, but open the possibility of people slowly accepting them for their heroics. Any other action will display them as uncaring monsters but reduces their public exposure and therefore lessen the number of people immediately targeting them.

I could see him trying to do the first (hes already asked the girls if they would themselves), only to fail and the girls drag him away for his sake.

The guy really didn't try to learn at least a little bit about his ability? It appears that the Ribbon hero, or former hero, is so enslaved that she never once mentions anything and is willing to slaughter people for clothes.

From the way it looks, they'll listen to any order he gives, so if he actually orders them to fight they might, but then it'll expose his identity or at the very least that Ribbon is alive(ish).
