A cute-ish story on the surface but the more I think about it the clunkier it gets. The author has potential, definitely, so if they streamline a bit I'd happily read more. The art style and paneling are pretty fun

That are 2 separate sentences, dunno why the author cut the part where she explains the reason she said "no" before.
I have to check it twice with the translator, cuz it feel... off.

Kicking her stalker ex simply put action to his words; that he cares about her. He spent months learning about her (at least some of them wasted wheh he could have just asked if she genuinely likes him) because he wanted to be a good boyfriend. Because he wanted to be considerate of her, when prior to her transfer no-one else was.

The sex is implied to come days if not weeks later, after he's figured out the right kind of distance for her to feel comfortable. And then, she eventually felt comfortable enough to actually initiate. On her terms, when she was ready. So it's not "just beat up her rapist stalker exbf!"

It's "communicate with and respect the boundaries of your partner."

My only gripe were pages (46),47,48. Idk if it's the translation's fault or if the dialogue is a bit messy but from my understanding it goes:

Kenshi: A lot happened but I finally understand the distance between us as lovers and...
Kenshi: Are you really sure about this?
Io: It's okay
K: But
Io: Not just because you want to know, but as my boyfriend
Io: The reason I said no before was...
Io: Because you kicked him away for me
K: We're going to have sex today

"The reason I said no before was, because you kicked him away for me" - Is this supposed to be read as one statement? If so, that doesn't make any sense, those things happened in the wrong order. Or is there a gap between those two statements? In which case I'm reading the page as "Because you kicked him away for me, we're going to have sex today" which feels like quite the shallow ending.

That one line really bothers me. It just doesn’t fit any of the context. For example something like this would make more sense:

“The reason I am ok with this now is because protected me and made me feel safe”

The stalker ex wasn’t a factor during the first refusal. Her thought process the first time should be totally unrelated aside from past traumas.

Having read the raw, the issue is with the Japanese text. Not sure if a line was omitted accidentally, or if there were a few typos in the sentence making it nonsensical.

Though my suggestion would be that if the text is definitely wrong, to translate it to its likely intended meaning, and only leave a note about what the original text said for reference.
