My mother intentionally didn’t move around (got long COVID) and sat in her chair for three years straight until it ended up killing her (due to not going to the doctor to get heart medicine that she’d die from not getting), all so she could force me to take care of her and not leave her.

(Long story behind it, but she was an emotionally, physically & financially abusive narcissist who gaslit me from when I was a toddler. So I didn’t realize the extent of what was going on till near the end.)

I see some parallels with her mother, so it could very well be she was intentionally messing things up to get her to keep coming by.

I dunno that she is - Kuroko trying to get her to not eat bread, her condition spiraling so bad that she's incontinent and losing mobility when she's probably in her 50s (60s) at most. Granted, some of this may also be intentional to bind Kuroko to her.

I could relate too hard to Kuroko's staring at the never ending wall of medicine - it's just such a good visual of the burn out (even when the person you're caring for isn't awful like Kuroko's mom).

Don't those hair medications often mess up your hormones and libido? Gomi should just put on muscle and embrace hair loss. adult women don't care as much about a man looking pretty as long as he looks strong, imposing, virile, alpha etc.

Ok, basically every single one of my predictions in this manga has been wrong so far, but this time, with absolute certainty I can say , she is DEFINITELY going to go back to her successful , violent, aggressive husband.
How can I be so sure, you ask? because she likes receiving violent, aggressive sex and she's probably getting sick of Gomi walking on eggshells and always apologising. In fact for all we know maybe her husband only became violent because she started asking him to hit her during sex. something just ain't right about her I tell you. and the easy way way she goes from being infatuated with Gomi in shoujo manga mode to dead-eyed mode. I can't trust her at all
And if you want to use me as a counter signal and conclude that Yumezora will actually just turn out to be an angel who overcomes all her red flags and dodgy past then go ahead.

I think it's implied that Gomi is in an insecurity spiral where he thinks his absolutely normal hairline is receding b/c he doesn't have a good baseline of what "normal" looks like.
