Came back to the thread to say thank you for the recommendation (?). I read it all in two days. I've read worse but its still pretty bad. The Mai-chan doujinshis and the sequels are worse

What Mai-chan doujinshi are you talking about? I love this manga and I want to read more stuff like this.

Girls with that messed up childhoods usually never end up as pretty as Yumezora, even if they have the genetic potential to end up that pretty, because they get hooked on drugs and alcohol or made to do prostitution which makes them age much faster and damages their body and skin.

Also, if she really slept with dozens or hundreds of men for shelter, she definitely will have encountered "simps" who would have been very kind and accomodating and just wanted to live with her forever. "captain save-a-hoe" as they're called.
Which means she could have just stayed with one of them as long as she wanted , but instead she was more drawn to the violent, angry thugs and chose to stay with them.

But yeah I thought that Yumezora was a FREAKY SLUT all the way back in chapter 3 when she started asking Gomi about whether he went to brothels. No decent girl would ask something like that.

I think she will just thought the nice guys don't love her since they didn't beat her and abuse her, therefore no love in her POV. Gosh I want a GF like that so bad.
