Time to binge and re-read from the start since the final chapter has just been uploaded. One of the most interesting aspects of this manga is the beginning where Gomi, clearly already shown to not be an example of a well-adjusted human being with how he initially chose to vent his sexual frustrations before discovering the wonderful world of used pads, still had the gall to feel superior over da boomers and other nerds his age. The author also deliberately chose to show his inner thoughts - such as when he defended Kuroko from sekuhara while remarking on the insensitive boomer's antics, reflecting the commonly held viewpoints of people his age which by all counts should make you a decent person, while being a piece of human garbage himself.
To me, the author was subtly making a commentary on whether someone who thinks, behaves and speaks appropriately, at least in public, is truly a decent person. It is not without reason that Gomi's surname is the homophone for trash. At the same time, he is actually pretty realistic to me. If you have to ask me "Who in their right mind would do all the shit Gomi does?" then you are vastly overrating the sanity levels of the average person lol
