I personally feel that this was a very interesting manga. While I can't really say for sure whether it was good or bad, I can definitely say that it was intriguing and entertaining enough to where I stuck around until the ending.
I personally believe that the ending WOULD BE GOOD if not for the fact that it felt like the manga got axed so they had to quickly finish up everything. Although, maybe the message was that tragedies like these are abrupt and unexpected. Even if that were the case, it honestly felt a bit too fast. I was on the verge of laughing when I saw the final pages of chapter 35, because literally where did this guy even come from? Well, at least the FMC got what she wished for.
The worst part about this manga is it's message. I don't feel like I've learned anything after reading it wholeheartedly. Don't self-insert? Seperate fiction from reality? Live life to the fullest? It's unclear really. If it was trying to be deep then I should've learned at least some kind of significant lesson. Well, it's not like I wasted my time all that much, the middle part was still good to me.
I would say that the characters are alright. The MC is unbearable at times, but that's most likely intentional so I won't harp on it too much. The FMC was definitely the best character for me. That's just because she was the one that got fleshed out the most. All I remember from the MC is that he was a virgin his entire life and that le women are scary. I remember the FMC is a victim of bullying, domestic abuse, trauma, attachment issues, etc. All of the side characters are basically one-offs to progress the story further so I couldn't care less about them.
I would not recommend it simply for the fact that the ending is just... disappointing to say the least. It's not because it's a "bad ending" btw, it's just lackluster.
