Original Language Filter broken?

Im trying to keep the Korean/Chinese/English (not manga) stuff off my feed, cause this is MANGAdex, not random webtoon shitdex.

but In the Popular New Titles, I still see Chinese and Korean stuff up there. I thought it would filter it out. is this a bug or working as intended?

If you click on one of the titles, do those languages show up in the chapter list?

As far as I can recall, it's always been that way. Otherwise the site would have to recalculate all those listings for each individual user's whims on each page load or whenever settings change.

tag filters applying sitewide has been requested quite a few times, unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be coming any time soon, that said, I think you can try to alleviate the issue by blocking the groups that do these releases?
