I don't understand why all here is so confused about Lily's and Akutsu previous lives. It's pretty obvious that they were lovers and died because they meant to be "enemies", in Aine's mental prison in the previous chapter all of them called him "traitor", so it's pretty easy to guess that he fell in love with a demon and they both were killed because of that, but their souls tried to find each other in hell and heaven but they just missed each other.

I really like this twist because it changed the meaning of the title. You’d think Amane is the foolish angel dancing with the demon Akutsu, but really it could be referring to foolish angel Akutsu dancing with the demon Amane. Look at the panel where angel Akutsu meets Lily, she is seemingly dancing. Didnt expect this to be so lore heavy lol
