Frankly, chapters 1 and 2 have very little to do with the story as a whole. Lilly in those two chapters is radically different from chapter 3 onward. The collar doesn't pop beyond chapter 10, IIRC. Much like nagatoro's bullying turned tease, that is just an element from a story that died so we could have this one.

my theory, considering her personality and the timeframe, is that she literally forgot about that and since she didnt count for his hidden power, the effect is minimal. 🗿

a visualization would be like Akutsu has 100 ATK and Amane sealed 80 ATK. turns out Akutsu's wings weighs 900 ATK, making him 920 ATK at best. the nerf is not that much, but would make a difference when battling powerful foes (like when against Aine's puppets)

well, my problem is that the mark that she is slaving him is still there, which make bitter feeling and that they have not completely settled things, because the mark was done for her to slave him when they were enemies, so if they at least make a change of the purpose of that mark then all will be good.

That's a fair point. Wish author resolved that soon after
