Why do they have such an issue with snacking during a long self study session? I've seen this in several manga, are you expected to go the whole day without eating anything except your tiny lunch box? Is it just something they consider rude in Japan?

The Komukai girl is good, she's gifted & she's cool. She actually cared enough to go back to help him with his test...

The Kuraishi guy however is so damn nervous that he keep getting himself in these ridiculous situations. He really need a costant supply of chill pills or self improvement to manage his panic tendencies. Also he really need to look at the mirror before calling her "landmine girl" because so far in their interactions he's the one who keep setting off those "mines" all over the place...

I really wish to see him improve or have some redeeming qualities other than being "a nice little Japanese dude". Be secretly strong when they both really need it would be nice, but that's just my wishful thinking...

Anyway, I'm just hoping to see Kuraishi improve himself...

Well, what do you know... Komukai can kinda "afford" to slack off given how she answered it all with ease. The same can not be said of Kuraishi who's lacking the academic skill and is always getting dragged into her pace. He's getting a raw deal out of this slacker business with her.
