You see, the virgin-energy you're talking about is a way too overused manga trope. The thing is irl men also get embarrassed when they see the underwear of a girl. If it's your girlfriend, probably not that much, but they still do. Now, the problem is, for some reason every frickn manga needs them to have a 5h inner monologue and not just a quick, "I can see your underwear."

Trust me you won't get arrested for that, worst case you get a slap because she'll be embarrassed. Source is I had similar situations in my life and once I actually got thanked for pointing it out.

Then, average. Yeah um, most people are average? I never understood the point people made (in manga too). What do you mean average is bad? No it's not, it's the majority. If you want something better, it's above average. So yeah, average looks means he's not ugly.

Everything else makes sense tho.

The virgin-energy thing is over hyperbolized. If I see a girl on accident or on purpose in her underwear I will in most cases will not even blush. Out of courtesy I will at best turn around, say "sorry for the inconvenience" and walk away IF i was wrong in entering some place. But if i entered a correct place but a girl decided to change in the most wild place to inconvenience others I will go and do my own thing without regards to her "shameful" state.
As an example, i went recently to the gym, I showered and went out there was 1 cleaning staff at the moment (male), while I was still naked a female staff came out, out of the toilet (cleaning maybe?) I didn't flinch since I don't give a crap but she was wrong at that time, female staff should clean female wardrobes, apparently those fuckers decided to work "faster" and do duos.
What I'm trying to say here MOST OF MY inner circle aren't flustered by half-naked women and majority of them like me aren't flustered if women see us naked. Virgin energy thing is over hyperbolized, do i get flustered? Yes i do, do i get embarrassed sometimes? Yes I do but, after going to the beach once you sort of stop caring about female underwear altogether, female underwear and swimsuits difference is that material is different and sometimes underwear is more "risque" though it shows as much skin as swimwear.

As for average, I'm average at best. Looks for guys don't matter much but in order for guys to succeed they have to have something unique in them, be it looks, education, influence or money he doesn't have anything like that.
My point and case was, he is an average Joe AT BEST, he doesn't have any friends (which is below average), his grades are solely dependent on his efforts and he is degrading as soon as his effort is drawn somewhere else. He is not handsome, so in general if he decides to "play" with a girl who got everything gifted from birth he will essentially ruin his life.
If you are average you have to understand in order to succeed you will have to put more effort than people who are naturally gifted, sad fact which I learned through my experience and I was above average in grades, looks though without effort to maintain it my grades fell and my looks degraded (+ my height is below average which already put's me in higher competition bracket i.e. less attention from women and men on average try to test me more <-- Facts about having lesser height than someone else).
