Honestly, I've been loving this manga, since I adore stories with characters who learn true contrition for their past deeds and manage to at least start working toward redemption, even if in every one of those the forum is full of idiots screaming "don't forgive her, the b!tch deserves to burn!". And yeah, even if only to ease those that feel a person feeling they deserve to suffer isn't enough I'm fine with stories where the contrition is proven with a period of penance, of suffering either while they learn how much in the wrong they are or after with them enduring with that sort of "I deserve this" mindset.

However, when the suffering comes in this form, all I see is that scene from The Matrix. "Not like this. Not like this."

Bro, this is too much, I know that girl has done something bad... really bad, but don't do it like this, teach her a lesson or something, but don't let it get to the point of rape or something like that.
