I'm curious to know how Hanabi's story ends, because what that damned author did to her was unforgivable (she deserved punishment, but just the fact that she's suffering from losing Ichinose was enough in my opinion). I want to see how he's going to resolve this unnecessary drama and if that blond guy will at least be arrested after getting a beating. But honestly, that was one of the worst blackmail scenarios I've ever seen. Seriously, doesn't the author have the creativity to invent something better? A video of a child urinating would be grounds for blackmail? Another thing that always bothers me in these works is that the victim never tries to help, and it seems like the Japanese police are incompetent at handling these cases.

Not sure how other phones work, but on mine if you click the screen protect button it would just black the screen - the call would still be ongoing. So I am not even sure if the call was cut. So MC could have "spied" on the convo the whole time.

Also he said he already left hospital or at least thats how I understood what he said, there is a possibility the hospital was close enough and/or he was already on his way, that the call and what he heard in it just gave him more precise pin-point enabling him to just reach that spot fast.
