Everyone was dogging on Rui saying he's garbage, and I did agree to a small extent, but ultimately I thought he was just a victim of circumstance.

This chapter is the first chapter I actually felt he was a full-on sack of s888. The way he's becoming possessive at the end and giving in to lust does not look good on him; makes him feel like Ayana's grandfather.

I bet the twist in this series is gonna be Ayana was always messed up and actually seduced or set up her grandfather for mc to walk in and see them two outta jealousy maybe.
I question if the mc even saw the grandpa go all the way with her but I doubt if she did do it on purpose she'd half ass and resist it so she probably went all the way (based on her seducing depressed senpai).

I had thought the same a while ago, but the dialogue she had with Masa felt genuine when she was recalling about her grandfather(to herself). So it probably(initially) wasn't her seducing anyone, but its much more likely it was forced, though I still don't discount the possibility that she could have been used to it at the point Rui saw them and was already "messed up" by then, with Rui being her delusional escape from her experiences.
