first of all , i love this manga. It is a powerfuli story, ya the guy is a dumb ass but he is running after this empty headed tall girl who is worhtless trash. the real hot girl is the childhood friend who really likes him. He is a fool to ignore love like that. It was not her fault she was raped by her nasty lecher grandfather. So be a man MC and pick her over the air head sports nut. Besides the childhood friend, Ayana is very far the hottest looking of the two girls. Art style is nice too. Chapter 13 is out already and the story is getting really exciting. I will pray the MC get smart.

the anime/manga scene in japan, and even outside of it, is populated by unpopular teenage boys. Less so than it used to be in the west, because its becoming more normalized like video games have been normalized, but in japan the whole "otaku" thing is still very looked down on afaik.

So "wimpy MC scores a bombshell gf" is literally just manga appealing to their target demographic. I dont like it either, and i tend to stick to seinen because they tend to have more mature themes, but even Seinen are plagued by this type of protagonist.

On an unrelated note, glad i read the comments before reading the manga, how did this dumpster fire make its way into the "popular" section?

Part of the reason I've been a weeb/otaku for 17 years (became one around 10, am 27 now) is because I was one of these guys and even though I've changed somewhat, still am at my core and will always likely be. The western entertainment industry has never appealed to me as a demographic, whereas anime/manga has for a long time.

It's excellent! Fantastic! Down with the normies and their arrogance! Hooray for wimpy self-insert protagonists that I can easily self-insert into! Go watch basketball or whatever it is you people do. Anime/manga is for losers, this is our escape from the real world. Leave the losers to our loser corner and you normies can go over to your normie corner and we stay in our respective lanes.

I've never seen a story so devoid of everything. Only god knows how the author managed to pluck the very artistic nature of this medium and transformed it in such a appalling product.

There is no character development, only wrath.
The MC is plagued by japanese passiveness, no matter how much encouragement he gets to turn things around (his mates from the club or his girlfriend) the Main Character is doomed. His problems will only get worse and more shit the readers will have to eat just to get the hope that both of them will stay together despite everything.

But hear me, the outcome is most obvious: They will stay together, because this is a soulless product.
The author will find a shitway to make this happen, and in the end, you will feel nothing.

Dropped. Hell, I wish is could burn this thing and the one behind this shitheap.
