It's ok to use MTL as long as you use it properly and make sure the output matches the scene.

And if you're using OCR to extract the text, at least make sure everything is extracted properly. Take the line "That's not a mage from the association" on page 6; I don't know how it happened, but the "俺" from the raws ("ore" -> me; he's explicitly referring to himself here) completely disappeared in the translation.
