How can 100 gfs continue and this doesn't? I'd never understand the Japanese taste for stories.

I'm not sure how much of them are editor meddling, but story pacing has been this author's biggest weakness across multiple works. He has a habit of raising the stakes way up way too fast.

100gf is pretty leisurely and doesnt take itself very seriously despite having a similar "death if you reject them" premise, and predictable pivoted to a gag-manga-like structure.

This one keeps reminding you that the Karins will poof out of existence once every two chapters, but doesnt really act like theyre in danger (well, until now, once the axe is already on the series' neck).

Such a shame.

Yea reading this chapter, it felt obv that next chapter is gonna be the last. While I'm sad that there's only one chapter left, this was a fun manga. I hope the mangaka knows how much we enjoyed it and hopes their next work does great.

True, it also suffered from being monthly I think, sometimes it took too much, the arc with the Idol one was....4 chapters I think. So that's like 4 months.
And despite the many declarations of love they never even kissed once and now I guess is going to happen next chapter.

Minority report:
We could have probably gotten another volume or two, but honestly this had a fixed life span and this was how it was always going to need to end up. Its not like 100 GFs where there isn't any real delima to be solved, just how many girls Rintaro can get into the harem. This one, the Karin Split always needed resolution and unlike 100GFs, its much harder to have a Karin go off-stage without some serious questions. And while reality kept warping to handle the new Karins, it was starting to push things.

This doesn't feel like Axe-kun to me, this feels like the author deciding they'd taken the premise about as far as they cared to. I'd rather we get this than some unneeded drama about Drug Dealers or whatever BS.

This is definitely "Don't cry because its over, smile because it was cute, fun, and didn't overstay its welcome or do some retarded C O M A S T R A T S bullshit"

Is Yamika the short haired one from the spread on chapter 01? Seems likely to me now, that only left the Hidden Karin but she can be anyone...

I think last chapter was mentioned that representing core Karin as a child was no good, but in chapter 15 we see core Karin reflection in a window and it don't add unless she is a girl of the proper age and height, so may be Yuu the only one who see her as a child.

It will be clear next chapter but Karin, until now, seems a little different, physically speaking, of her shards.

Is funny how in the beginning he was trying to realistically plan around the multiple Ks but found himself unable to do so because he is not a super man, I guess this chapter speaks of a rushed ending.
