I kind of feel the same, we're also starting to see the hints of whatever made her wish to disappear if she couldn't be with Yuu, with Aika hating how she used to be and trying to maintain a dynamic she's convinced herself she had with Yuu. It's interesting watching Aika running from the past while also rejecting the differences from it she sees in the present
