I don't want to say this but this is polygamy looks like if they are considerate, willing to share and fair to play
It never works this way because humans are flawed to begin with. The durability of a monogamous marriage is what keeps two equal partners from splitting apart. A harem-like relationship only works if there's a power imbalance in the favor of the minority party.

It's in a weird technical manga-wackiness grey area where it technically isn't traditional polyamory, and he is still committing himself to "one" person. I mean, maybe in the ending, they all merge back together because it's magic, who cares

Hold on how are all these Karins getting graded if their names are identical, they're in the same class, and there's apparently no way to tell whose test is whose?
The weird Paper Charm god said that reality would bend for convenience to accept them both. Since the mother saw no issue with having 2+ daughters with the same name and the extra rooms just popping up I'm gonna assume teachers and machines can somewhat discern them

I'd bet on it… it's a rare manga that's willing to be as wacky as Aizawa-san Zoushoku (the ending is up elsewhere, MangaDex stops halfway through).

MST3K mantra for the win.
If you're wondering how he eats and breathes
And other science facts
Then repeat to yourself "It's just a show,
I should really just relax."

I'm getting confused on how these extras are supposed to fit into the timeline.

A hell of a lot more durable than any other alternative, and it's not even close. Surprise, surprise: hardship draws a man and a woman closer in love.
Citation needed for this bold claim, especially since scientific study into how polyamorous groups compare to monogamous couples is severely hampered by societal stigma against non-monogamy and the resulting reluctance of polyamorists to risk outing themselves in the name of science. Besides, the very argument of "hardship begets love" that you use isn't magically unique to monogamy.
