Translator's note: the "doki-doki" sound effect was originally トゥクン, as in 두근, as in "dugeun", the Korean equivalent of どきどき (doki-doki), the Japanese sound effect for a heart beating. It was translated as "doki-doki" because 1. it keeps the same effect of "foreign language onomatopoeia the reader could probably recognize" 2. I don't think most manga readers know "dugeun".
