I hadn't liked most of the recent chapters but I did like this one.
The things I hated the most form previous chapters were that the big revenge were just revealing to Kamiki that Ai just had had a woman moment but she totally still loved him, which was somehow supposed to be torture to him who actually masterminded her death by accident? And Nino was somehow the main villain out of nowhere?
This chapter addressed both concerns. Aqua made it pretty clear that the previous "revenge" on Kamiki was Ruby's revenge. Aqua used Ruby's revenge as red herring to make Kamiki assume they were done with him, and Kamiki's own attempt against Ruby (through Nino) as a way to keep Akane and Ichigo busy and distract them from Kamiki (and Aqua) for a bit.
There's still some issues with the timeline of events in the past, the delivery of twists near the end, and the contradictions between what Crow loli said about the night of Gorou's death and the apparent flashback that shows Nino there, but overall the climax now looks just a bit sloppy rather than outright disappointing.
And about Aqua's plan here, I actually hope he's considering his survival as part of this plan. Otherwise it's kinda pointless when he realizes how many people's happinesses he's sacrificing here. Sure, now nobody will attempt to kill Ruby, except for... you know... Ruby.
