I see what it is, misandric annoying lesbian.
Good to know that she faces yuri destruction likely
I was going to connect the same. I’m a proud yuri enjoyer but in these types of stories they always have the obligatory lesbian character and I would be all for it, if only they didn’t make them the most annoying fucking character. I like her design so I’m hoping it won’t go down that route. But it is a female dominated society and the MC even said Rui was all tsundere for Hinata.

MC is also part of a literal terrorist organization, on top of being a literal second class citizen.

Her coming at him with the intent to kill him makes sense, if I'm honest, especially as it's not like she has any reason to believe he's connected to Hinata in any way. Never mind I missed that she referenced him as "Setsun's subordinate" which I guess would infer that she spoke to Hinata about the other day and is inferring who MC is/was from that time.

But still, each of the "good guys" were wielding actual bladed weapons against MC and his CHF, the latter of which was just kung-fu-ing her way through. But killing the two of them was clearly on the table with the way the Lux people were attacking them throughout.

Maybe she will turn into that trope you and the other person mentioned, but in terms of this being reality and not MC's game, she's acting exacly how I would expect her to against dangerous criminals.

Thanks for the chapter.

I am still a little confused (or it has been too long), what does his Lux "Seperation" do? Teleportation seems to be attributed to his partner Kushina and it wouldn't make much sense, because why would he need to call her out on the surprise attack then?

MC is also part of a literal terrorist organization, on top of being a literal second class citizen.
That is my greatest critic (besides not properly telling/showing important information). The MC, going by chapter 1, has lived in this world since 15 years, seems to know about the organization at least since some time and how their ideals are in stark contrast with the world right now. The result: Enemy angry at him -> surprised pikachu face
He also acts weirdly distant around Kushina, his supposed childhood friend, who helped him deal with his Umbra (hugging each other) since long before, or at least we don't get the sense of closeness that is implied.

he's just fully detached from this world.
He still thinks of it in terms of the media he remembers from his original world, and not the living, breathing, functioning reality he now exists within. And as you said, he's apparently kept up this shtick for fifteen years, while being viewed, and treated, with contempt and as scum, by women at large for being a man.

He's got a childhood friend, but he seems to see her as a character in a video game or novel, and still fanboys over the "protagonists", but somehow ends up as part of the faction that said protagonists want to destroy and dismantle.
And even if said childhood friend was able to "shield" the MC from the brunt of the systemic misogyny, the fact that he just doesn't treat it as real or a big deal breaks the immersion of his having existed here for so long.
At some point he should start feeling the weight of that, and his carefree attitude about everything we've seen thus far doesn't make me want to care about him or his story here in the slightest.

He's treating the whole thing like he's some sort of voyeur and doesn't see any of them as real people, apparently - to the point that with his life in real danger at present, he's suddenly aware of the fact that this girl wants to murder him.
And I don't think it's just because she's a misandrist lesbian. I'm sure the author's going to force it that direction for the sake of meeting the trope quota, but realistically, a person who can control swords and fling them through the air, is going to use them to kill people who are seen as the definition of "enemy combatants of the state".

The story just wants to be two things at the same time - dumb Isekai MC who wants to treat his new reality like a TV show, and a real world with an ongoing serious conflict with incompatible ideologies and the zealotry of their adherents who are willing to do anything to achieve their goals.

The problem is her possible reasoning for this hostility, its not “damn he’s a terrorist i gotta kick their ass” but rather “filthy male, what’s he doing, imma murder his ass”

That's also...kinda in-line with the general sentiment of the world.
All men are second-class citizens who are treated like scum, or at least like they're definitively beneath the women of the world.

She is literally a soldier of the fascist man-hating regime. Its honestly more weird that most of their group aren't excited to murder dudes.

Tell me how these are the good guys again?

Also is it gonna take someone to die for the protagonist to snap back to reality... Well even then he probably wouldn't because it's the gimmick of the series I guess
