You know try to search that type of club with the same name in Latin America (greetings from this side of the world and the name is Healing in Spanish) and you will find something similar with nightmarish results, or just a really legal massage bar with some undocumented ladies doing a humble job

In Japan, pole dancing is taken pretty seriously as both a sport and art form, so it doesn't have nearly as deep of sexual connotations as it does in the West, not that they don't exist though. It's just a much less shady thing than we westerner's would think of it as.

I went to a stripper club once. The joke Bo Burnham made about how they're like confused firemen is the most apt description. The atmosphere is also depressing. Everyone looks tired or bored. Perhaps they're silently horny, or contemplating on how momentary pleasure won't fill the gap of loneliness. Either way, don't recommend. Go to a hobby store where they sell board games and Warhammer 40k stuff. I stumbled on one where they have tables for folks to play or watch. You'll find fun there instead. Trust me.
