I think you're misunderstanding. Protagonist thinks she's around the same age as herself ("p.5 You're about the same age as me, aren't you?") and she's just a 1st year high-schooler.

I think you're misunderstanding. Protagonist thinks she's around the same age as herself ("p.5 You're about the same age as me, aren't you?") and she's just a 1st year high-schooler.

I think I simply misread "as me" as "as her", and I rechecked the earlier chapters but it turned out neither Mirai or Michi have said what they were doing or their age in the future (I guess I follow too many series). Well, "about the same age" doesn't equal to "same age", they can be a few years apart, and both Mirai and Michi look older than Kako. Since they were about to get married I assume they are adults (18 years old at least), but I wouldn't be surprised if Mirai decided to get pregnant while underage before being elegible for marriage and just fled when the ceremony was close. I'll just let the comedy unveil itself and enjoy all surprises.
