You know in hindsight I’m kinda glad we got as much progress as we did and not more during that conversation last chapter, but ending a chapter with “could you hear me out more?” and off-screening the rest of the conversation is kinda wild lol
Because that's his name....?Wait who the fuck is “Tohno” now? Why did she call hi using her name?!
Misunderstanding arcs are best when they're short.
I think we're about to watch Rei grow out of the prince's mask, and the fallout when reality comes crushing on the cult of him. Maybe even know some of the bitches that hurt Youta dealing with regret. What if Youta is the popular guy then?If only our girl knew Hojou and her little brother in law were helping with the play and close to Reiya all that time...
Also, I was sure that Yukimura would be playing Cinderella somehow. At least Hasegawa didn't get to see that. She has no idea what kind of final boss is waiting for her before she can achieve her greatest objective.
Now for the story, I wonder if we'll keep the focus on our duo exploring the festival together or if since the main conflict was mostly solved, the focus will shift to Reiya exploring his conflict with the prince persona and what he really wants to do with his backstage work.
Also, I want Reiya to start bothering Youta like asking him to invite Hojou to a family barbecue or his birthday so she can meet his parents (+ Yukimura).
But that's who he is Youta is a nice guy too nice in fact that's why he got manipulated in the first place in previous chapter he even told her that due to him being used to get close to his brother by other girls is the reason why he keep pushing everyone away even someone that have genuine attempt to get close to him even if he appreciate Hojou for listening to him he still feel guilty for not opening up to her much sooner keep his guard up and pushing her away for a long time on top of his conversation with her brother and the play made him think about his past behavior toward herI would have preferred for him to thank her for being patient and not giving up on him, rather than the apology for causing her trouble.
The vibe that he did something he should be ashamed of just didn’t hit right for me. Gratitude would have fit better.
I guess this is a culture difference though. Stoic Japanese people aren’t allowed to cause trouble no matter what they are dealing with right? Who needs therapy for lifelong trauma when you can just have one conversation and fix it all yourself right?![]()
Rei destroying everyone's expectations/forced image of him would hopefully be the next big event for this. I hope that he does it by himself tbh as he needs that development.I think we're about to watch Rei grow out of the prince's mask, and the fallout when reality comes crushing on the cult of him. Maybe even know some of the bitches that hurt Youta dealing with regret. What if Youta is the popular guy then?
Plus Izumi and her bro having a chat about her struggles.
My guess is that the contents of the conversation itself will be dripfed to the audience as the manga goes, at least it gives me that vibe, either that or the contents are literally just what the manga has already said before and there is no point in actually repeating itBecause the content of the conversation isn't important.
what is important is the fact he reached out to her and then also confided in her.
