I may be dense, but I don't get how the conversation happening on stage relates to youta's situation.
It's just him feel guilty for not opening up and believe in Houjou for so long and think it cause her problem because she attempt to get close to him but he pushed her away due to his paranoid about him being used to get close to his brother like other girls.

ah, so it's "meeting at entrance exams where MC showed kindness but completely forgot about it later" trope. I see, I see

Okayish drama, nice conclusion but still think author had a dozen actually organic and better ways to do it.

"You‘re forgiven“ gave me the ick, dunno if that‘s a translation thing tho and cba looking it up.
What is there to forgive exactly? Having actual trauma? The bro doing nothing and then spying on them? Tohno reacting appropriately to her acting weird?

You can see in the panel show flashback when Youta run away from her despite her attempt get to know and become closer to him but he keep pushed away for awhile back then and his conversation with her brother made him feel guilty thinking that he causing her problem around that time he tried to apologize her for that but she basically told him that he doesn't need to anymore after yesterday talk

If we track number of blushes per chapter, I think this one have broken the record by far . Feels like every other panel one of them does something that causes the other's heart (and face) to bloom...

It felt strange for him to apologize for having trauma and responding in ways he’s been taught are correct for literally his entire life. It isn’t something that happened now and then, it happened 100% of the time. His brain is wired to expect disappointment and rejection from every girl his age.

She’s not the first girl to make him think “maybe it’s different this time“, she’s just the first where it was actually true.

I was actually surprised that she was spending time talking to his brother the day after he opened up about everything. She didn’t think he might be triggered by that at all?

Also… They had ONE conversation but now he’s completely okay and his trauma is healed… sorry what?
