I know it wouldn't be like her, but with all the progress in this chapter I thought, maybe she got a big confidence boost and is going all in... then I went back to make sure she was the one wearing those sandals... turns out he is the one wearing the sandals and he is taking a step back out of embarrassment

Anyway, I hope they grow closer during the summer holidays. If they see each other every day (100% not going to happen, though) they could get together somewhere during the summer holidays. I'll be happy if they hold hands by mistake lol
