I had dropped it solely because it made the middle-aged man younger. It felt too much like a bait n' switch.

there was that 'around 40' guy who kept is age. and one like 'Bottom Tier old man' (tho he wasn't even that old in comparison, just 'middle aged') i feel like i saw one that was like 'granny'

Given all the girls on the covers I'm surprised no harem tags but there are a few series where ppl stay older but maybe ppl either are doing it as a wish fulfillment vs the author just not being good t drawing older charas lol
