Gotta say, the ends don't justify the means. Glad there was a happy ending, but having a whole squad come along to interrogate someone about why they declined a proposal is kinda gross. "He's not doing well at his job" is not a valid excuse for this: that's his own problem.
Following this, dragging the proposer to the conversation and basically trapping her in this conversation in front of everybody? Overall, kinda gross behavior from everybody.

Yea I was kinda thinking the same, the mc just putting the guilt on the girl by telling her how bad the dude is doing because she rejected him was indeed kinda gross.
