That's kinda funny that a informant possess inaccurate infos. But what's more funny is the noble that believe he will have the mc for himself and that Elsa just doesn't learn anything. This chapter is composed of a bunch of clown, nothing more ...
Here how i see the thing will play : the noble will use Elsa to kidnap Reda, everyone will go help, the noble gonna get rekt, Reda with his unlimited kindness (and stupidity) will forgive Elsa and everyone will be happy.
The informant has accurate info, except is missing the two most important things. One they are just assuming the town hates him because he used to be in a party with the bandit. And two that he was the one to heal the princess. They just assume he isn't doing well and is in a vulnerable position without that info.
But yeah they are clearly going to make use of Elsa in some way, because she is just so stupid. I fully get why she wants her daughter back in her life, but she also is obsessing over taking her daughter away from everyone. She has a stable job in town, just settle down in the town and she would be able to see her pretty much whenever.
As for the noble, he is messing with a higher rank noble knowingly, which is just brain dead. He knows Reda is in a relationship with said noble and even has a clinic, that is a quick way to die in a noble society, you do not mess with higher ranks. And a noble with the role of inquisitors at that. That's just insane. Reda also has royal family backing as well, but the noble doesn't know that so I can't fault him for being stupid enough to go against that.
