Hopefully our MC learns from this, and resolves to speak up immediately next time.

He's shown to grow and progress in his behavior and actions up to this point in his efforts to do better by the two (I guess three with the mom) of them up to this point, so it'd be great to see actual changes as the story moves forward and that we don't have a stasis situation with the MC's behavior.

It's gonna be wild when all three of them finally go public at school with their relationship, though. (because I don't believe they have, unless I've really missed something)

So I don't get this logic. He didn't really do anything wrong. If they weren't stalking him and saw it , would him not telling them be a problem? Feels like this is a situation of their own making because they are yandere and stalk him. Like what's the problem here? He didn't know they saw him and he didn't do anything wrong with his ex. Maybe I'm just not understanding the problem here because it seems like no big deal. Like imagine while stalking your Significant other , you get mad that they...helped someone? Like I have to not be getting something here

Yes, he did nothing wrong in itself; but MC already felt guilty because of his lie in ch.23. Since that night, he was aware of the changes in their behaviour but couldn't point out what triggered it. And now that he knows it was because they saw a particular scene, MC can't help but feel more guilty for lying and not saying anything sooner.
MC doesn't really care about the possibility of them being yandere and/or stalking him (even though he knows that their love is not 'normal'...). His main focus is on making sure they know he will never betray them and always love them by being at their side. (Note that he is a highschooler who's developing himself in a very unusual situation)
