So...this started as a prequel turned into an AU story...and then goes BACK into a prequel, ending with us seeing Date in his Kanto Student Alliance armor...

I'm guessing "Hyoei" there is actually all the evil parts of the Giant Heihachi before he ascended and he's been making AUs to get strong folks to destroy/conquer the universe and fight Heihachi..but when he got impaled on Giant Heihachi, he awakens, remembered his adventures and merge all 3000 universes into 1..hence why the end of the book ends with Date's debut chapter in the mainline Otokojuku but the new merged world added the Vipers as students of Otokojuku.
