Not sure but seem that the author is afraid of a NG+ and not being able to meet expectations. I hope that is not the case.

There are other couple to develop too as well as Yuki's family, they didn't appear yet.

And for some reason, I feel a bit of lack in interaction with other class/school mates.

like many other mangas where it all ends a the confession or them becoming a couple.
i like the cavity causing sweetness of this manga but once in a while a bit of sour tasting stuff is good as well, and well maybe only me but i havent tasted it since the little taste test that mayu´s mom gave us. so please dont end it like that and develop some more the other characters and enrich the story.
