The way I see it is that as opposed to Katarina, who has her previous self fully integrated (to the point where she kind of killed the original), Acchan is more like a subconscious within Sophia who only comes out in emergencies. I wouldn't be surprised if sometime down the line Acchan and Sophie will be able to talk to each other and switch out at will.
