This series does not have any yuri, at least as far as I have read. However, the author is a prolific yuri writer and her characters tend to look very much like the girls in this series. If you want to see what I mean, you can check out chapter 10 of the Lily & Ivy anthology.

I don't think anybody requested this or anything, but I'm quite fond of terrain running, and well, one thing lead to another.

I've climbed Mt Mitake, but I did not go via Mt Takamine. I found the latter on Google Maps, even though it's not marked. Go to 35°47'14.0"N, 139°10'54.0"E, or here. You might need to zoom out a little on that link to see some contour lines.

I remember walking up to the shrine at the peak and seeing all of these little paths going all over the place. They all seemed very inviting, but unfortunately I didn't have my running stuff with me at the time. Next time I'm in Tokyo I'll definitely go running there though. It seems like a ton of fun.

On my first trip, after I reached Mt Mitake, I went on to Mt Odake, and then down the ridge via Mt Nokogiri to Okutama station. On my second trip, I turned left (i.e. west) at Mt Nokogiri and climbed up Mt Gozen, before heading down another ridge to the dam on Lake Okutama. The whole area around Okutama is a paradise for hiking (or trail running), and there's a bus service (well there was pre-COVID, dunno about now) to take you further down the valley, so you can even reach peaks like Mt Kumotori in a day trip from Tokyo (done it, tough but rewarding).
