You know, i once thought it would be silly but what if, just what if Ayano/Miyoshi could be already dating and stuff, Author just play with us and play like they are still being dense/useless lesbian all this time. I mean, with all the kink they did, both could feel is the right one
But, holly shit, did they just casually kiss :oooo: on the lip :oooo: did that actually just happen ?
It's been my own personal theory that ayano/miyoshi are going to end up like nene/jun from the artist other series Maka-maka where they both date men but cheat on them with each other

Canon and chronology has always been malleable in this series. I mean, remember when Miyoshi molested Ayano in her sleep and threatened to rape her a hundred times, as a joke (ch5)? There are only so many of these anecdotes from the same school year that could have reasonably taken place in the same timeline. (In fact, at this point there are more chapters than school days in a year, which is around 240 in Japan.)
Earlier chapters are kind of weird though, the mangaka clearly wanted to make a more ecchi work instead of the more romantic fluff they later adopted, so the characters act way different in earlier chapters to how they act in newer ones

bruh, wtf ?
first, i could be wrong. It is not put in to word, but pretty sure at the end, it is mean they are together. Like pretty sure the whole resolution after the drama. It just that the way
you said that as it like that is the closure.
Second, look at the tone mate. This manga do diversity tone, but do you really think this two, out of all character, will switch the tone to anything close to Shizuka's ?

While it true that later, thing a lot more SFW, and softer tone. i don't see it like it is so out of character or different story.

Think about it, why teenager adore dark, edgy stuff, but grow up enjoy peacful slice of life ? we are just grow up and changed as person. As teenager, we new to that stuff and we horny af, all day, everyday. intrusive thoughts is pretty normal.

Ayano and Moyashi always touching each other and Miyoshi touch her nipple in like chapter 1 and they play the "pertver old man" in few chapter later, just for a joke of course, as useless lebian they are. I don't see Miyoshi touch her in their sleep is that much out of character or anything out for this pair, given she litelary shout to wake Ayano right the moment later. And in much later chapter, where nudity is no more, Ayano actually still eager for Miyano bikini and stuff, but the manga just not show nudity anymore. are we think the S-M pair no longer do their kink ? or they just do it off-screen ?
you can see it very clear with Ai and Chie. At first Ai want to be friend with Chie to get close to her with indecent motive, grobe her boob (well we are both girl and if i be friend her she probally let me tough her). But it take them very quick to become real wholesome. And this is long before the censor phase of this manga.
Same with Prez, she have a very ugly thought and view, but she got friends and then met her girl and grow a lot

But it is true, there are a lot chapter so more than 1 years should have pass. but then again, do you know detective Conan or Nobita and Ask ketchum have gone through how many newyears, chrismass and still in not grow a single years.

It wouldn't surprise me.

They're clearly the "main" relationship off this series they were the first pairing introduced so it stands the reason that The conclusion of their relationship is the conclusion of this series if that being said I see their relationship ending 3 ways at this point.

Either A the author does the word they want they cliche until graduation or a 10-year graduate reunion where they finally get together in the end

B. They just go their separate ways with an unfulfilled relationship (because if you haven't noticed, each pairing is a representation of a different relationship cliche childhood friend, transfer student, etc)

C Maka-maka route and while there is cheating in that story it's not like shizuka. They're in an open relationship in that story

you must be trolling right ? no freaking way, man. You really think the "conclusion of the seris" is what ? the girl go saparated way unfufilled ? because what ? this representatio cliche trope ? and what part in this whole manga is telling you at the end, this story will slap the audience in the face for the sake of subvert all that trope ?

Also, In Maka Maka, i said it not put in to word, as in they not need to show everything, something natural should be get by the implitication. i doubt it is a "open relationship". they have open to each other and clear all the issue this time, plus the whole thing is about don't need or want to keep thing with the man she keep throwing herself into the cloud it provide before. This is the the part where she is fixed now, in the story "i could fix her". so here is some known thing: they are no longer want or need the relationship with man they did before, they open up saying they want together and say love. Which part of that make you think they are in "open relationship" after that ?

You OBVIOUSLY haven't read the entire manga....................

Somebody else will probably explain it to you...
I did, but I don't remember the school being co-ed at any point.
I mean, any chapter you pick, the student body is all girls.
