I started to read the translated LN, because of the first manga chapter. The story is great so far. The mangaka did a great job on chapter 1, but chapter 2 is so freakishly rushed! He skipped so many things! I know, you don't want to read through a wall of text, when you read a manga, but he skipped out to emphasize just how expensive the boat and ammunition really was for his familiy and how dangerous his suicidal travel was. (Deep into the nothingness, not knowing if this island really exists.) How did he find that island? By writing down all he could remember right after he incarnated, including the coordinates. 3 or 4 more pages would have made such a difference.

The mangaka did choose a great story and he can do it right. Chapter 1 was great. Chapter 2 wasn't awful, just rushed. I'm looking forward to the next one.

i have 3 issues with this... and they are related
1 he has an arisaka type 38 or type 99 rifle... why is he shooting from so close? these rifles are effective over 400 meters. also there is no way it dodge the bullet after it fired unless the fish can move faster than 1700mph or 2.4 times the speed of sound
2 if guns exist why do people still use swords and shit guns are so much more effective at killing people and targeting individuals
3 i get they get some money for nobility dying but it cant be much also wouldnt the government crack down on this? they are marrying her to guys so they die and they make money... any government would notice them exploiting the system to get money and i cant think of a single government that would be ok with that
