For me the best part of this chapter wasn't the siblings finally learning of each other, it was the dad who begins to take out all opposition to his legit heir Leon. He kills a traitor, put his daughter in her place and got his suspicions confirmed that his shit wife was cheating and none of her kids are his so he can legally divorce her and abandon her to her own fate, thus allowing him to legally marry his mistress who genuinely loves him. It was such a great moment in the novels.

And Leon doesn't need to be an heir, he's already a separate family of his own and has his own title. He's already higher ranked than his dad ever will be, there'd be no point in becoming an heir to his dad's family lol. At best, Leon's family will probably become the main family, and his dad's family becoming a branch of the main family.

I do have to say though, the MC is a fucktard. It's not just Marie, but he also caused some of this due to his own ineptitude in growing the balls to take a life. Dude pussy footed for so long, that everything came to bite him in the ass if he only properly resolved the problems instead of letting all of them go alive. Sure, there's no need to kill every enemy you go against, but at the very least the principality enemies should have been killed, including Hertrude or whatever her name was. I don't care for her background history or whatever, as the author seems to have her as a somewhat more important character than just simply a villain, but I really couldn't care less about her. Realistically he should have capped that bitch during the initial fight he had with them.
