Too bad this ended way too quickly, the autor should have gone with the yuri route like her other works, while i understand she was most likely trying to broad her writing, the story itself felt like it was goingo to the yuri rote.

You may have noticed the number next to the title on the first page. I'm guessing she'd planned out the story for at least three volumes. That's why it reads the way it reads.

Still, thanks for picking and finishing it Timeless scans.

Aw shit. I can understand a short series but this was very short. Still a nice chill read, thanks for the series timeless scan.

I really like this, and I think it could've ended up being something very special. But the pacing is all over the place and it's always unclear where this is going. Is it a drama about friendship? A romance, and if so, what kind? Is the narrative supposed to split between Akira and her brother, or is it just going to focus on her alone? Or is it just a slice of life that jumps from one thing to another?

I think I understand why the series was clearly axed early on. It's just hard to tell what kind of story this wants to be. Whatever the core of this series was going to be, it needed to get to it sooner.

@schuyguy I think the author wanted to portray the beginning of youth(or in this case, high school life), starting from friendship; that’s why the name, “let’s begin from friendship”/ “let’s start from making friends”; although I do agree there are a lot of gaps that could have been filled, but I guess then it’ll loose its charm...
I also feel like it could have been extended, but I guess just portraying the beginning of friendship was the gist of it(?)

Yeah I agree with @schuyguy , the pacing and meandering of themes really brought this manga to its premature end. The author put in so many seeds of storylines, and GL/BL romances evolving from the friendships, that never got explored because they were so vague and the author kept jumping from place to place and not keeping the narrative focused enough to keep audience interest. It's a pity that we'll never get to see how everything would have panned out with her photography club, the boy sitting beside her, her friend whom it seemed like she had a crush on, her brother's sports backstory and cooking club, etc.
