shit man I really hope so, while it had a lot of melancholy, this one never really struck me as a story that's gonna have a giga depressing ending, and them just growing tired of each other and never interacting would probably be the most depressing ending possible, even them dying and not waking up would be better, at least they escape the cycle

also the transition from them being together and then apart is so fucking abrupt, nothing in between those slides to show some conflict or anything, which I suppose makes sense if you're trying to get the readers to guess before the last chapter, but shit

I know people were speculating about that a lot in prev chapters but it seems unlikely to me, although considering there are literally 0 clues about how the loop works it could go a million different ways, this included

but it feels like this development is a bit too big and important to just have it be implied in a collection of slides with no text

I believe the chances of a happy ending are quite high. After countless cycles, they might finally reunite and realize that being alone in this purgatory is far more unbearable. And perhaps, just as inexplicably as the cycle began, it will come to an end. The frustrating part is that we’ll likely never get an explanation, especially with only one chapter left.

To me it looks like he killed her. And like was even bathing in her blood or shit.
Maybe that's how she escaped the loop.
Everything I'm saying makes no sense with the next chapter though. But neither does the next chapter in itself make sense xD
