Find it interesting that the gal is being shown as aggressive and potentially violent, she was a goddamn saint compared to (the equivalent of) Naruko in the original manga.

Also for those curious the mom was chubbier and less fashionable and her controlling nature had nothing to do with instagram there. And we haven’t seen this kid’s dad yet but he was involved in that version of the story.
