She would really have an excellent chance with the guy if she cut out most of her bad behavior. Under different circumstances one might think she specifically wants to prevent him from falling for her (due to the age difference or other reasons), but that's clearly not the case since she keeps visiting every day. But then again, this is just romcom, so trying to analyse it is fruitless. The author simply loves an endlessly teasing (but never delivering) character, who occasionally turns sweet. There's no other explanation required. I hope I can keep reading this, but my track record with these type of stories isn't excellent.
