It was gobbled up by Gozimott the Eye Stealer. This was elaborated upon in great detail in the LN, but for the most part that served as foreshadowing for his later reappearance in Volume 662.

Given that we didn't see Gozimott himself this time, I expect he'll only be revealed in the manga closer to his re-debut—when he becomes more plot relevant. At the current rate of adaptation, we might see Gozimott as soon as 2076!
