There are two different scanlation teams doing this series. The other team is up to 11.3, this one is just returning from a break or something it seems.

Because this is so obvious and cliché only people who lived under a rock wouldn't get her circumstances from the moment we saw her sitting in the rain.

I will admit, people should get her circumstances… but I’ve seen a lot of obtuse folks reading manga over the years, and sometimes people need shit spelled out. Like it’s clear to me she’s pushing herself in school because of her parents, alongside the general gloom when she is reminded of them, but not everyone can read the cues.

They only give her so much allowance despite being wealthy enough to afford a maid. It’s honestly clear to me she might as well move in with Amane eventually so she doesn’t have to worry about her parents’ implied conditions and can live for herself and Amane’s sake alone.
