This girl has some issues, that's also why the romance is slow. In fact, if he had been any more direct she would have just stopped meeting with him, period. She's not anti romance, she's the epitome of slow romance.

Also, this is a super fuffy manga but the romance will always be slow. Both of them will be slow. It's just the type of manga it is.

Pretty much, though I think the anime might come back for some of the events it currently skips. It isn't too uncommon for romcom and slice of life series to have events shu8ffled around between versions.

True, but it's also not too uncommon to just drop some parts altogether. It's just how adaptations are and, sometimes, dropping some parts is the best choice for an anime. Oh well, maybe I'll watch the anime as well once the manga's caught up. Best of both worlds and all.
