So, out of curiosity, how's the anime adaptation compared to the manga one? I know the anime is way ahead, but does it skip things or squeeze parts to fit them in the 20 mins x 12 eps?
I got curious after reading that Tsukimichi anime kinda sucks compared to the manga

To be fair, up until this chapter, the anime didn't feel like it skipped all that much, at least compared to what the manga depicted... but I feel like it's going to start skipping whole chunks past Episode 5 of the anime, and end of Vol.4 of the manga, if only because of how much time was covered in the first five episodes (only about two-ish months) versus how much is expected to be covered in the latter 7 (probably upwards of 5 or 6 months, I think?). That's a lot of time to try and condense in that number of episodes, especially when 5 episodes was barely enough to tell what the first four volumes of the manga adapted, and they still skipped or truncated a few parts.

But even if it did adapt every single scene, the execution and presentation is lackluster compared to what the manga has done.

It was still good enough to get me invested in these characters to check out the manga adaptation, as well, so there's that.
