Oh... so Valentines being right after New Year's was actually not as much of a leap as I thought earlier? I was seriously expecting more deviation than skipping everything in Ch.16 but the very start of that chapter in the anime. But here we are, rolling right into Valentines so readily, just like the anime does essentially at this same point. So when does the anime start dropping entire chunks of the narrative, because it's still only a few things, if this is the course we're taking right now. Feeling like it's still 80% faithful instead of 80% missing, for the time being.

I mean, I expect to start seeing a lot more moments I don't remember from the anime, but so far Miharu and Chitose going out for a day or evening and Amane escorting Mahiru back home is about the only thing that wasn't in the anime at all, while everything else got at least some reference up to this point.
